The revolutionary thing about Copeland’s low sound compressors is that their quietness does not impact their efficiency: Our low sound scroll compressors in heat pumps reliably achieve the A+++ standard at a reference temperature of 55°C. The improved efficiency corresponds to an increase of 5% in Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP).
Sound is measured on an algorithmic scale. This means that even a few decibels make a big difference. In fact, a reduction of 10dB(A) is equivalent to half of the original sound pressure level.
75% of Europe’s population already live in urban areas and cities - and this will rise to 83.7% by 2050.
