Patrick Forsythe

Patrick Forsythe came to Copeland in May 2024, bringing 30 years of leadership and technical expertise with a proven track record of fostering innovation across global teams and delivering business outcomes and sustainable growth. 

Before joining Copeland, he served as chief technical officer at Generac Power Systems, where he led engineering, technology and product management, driving key advancements to support growth through delivery of new products. His leadership extended to managing global engineering and technology teams across 24 locations in 10 countries as well as the P&L management of a European-based subsidiary.

At Hayward Industries, Patrick revitalized innovation, increasing revenue from new products from 4% to 22% over four years through groundbreaking product design and development. He also held leadership roles at Doosan and Ingersoll Rand, spearheading global engineering and product development initiatives.

Patrick  holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ulster University, as well as a Master of Science in Manufacturing and Technology from The Open University, United Kingdom.
